:: ABOUT MY QUALITY ::
What is 14K Gold fill? Solid 14K Gold is applied with heat and pressure to a base metal core, usually brass. The Gold layer is 100 times thicker than flash plating and will not flake or turn you green.
My raw metals and chains are made in the USA and clasps are Italian. All my Gold fill clasps have the industry mark of 14/20 GF; sterling clasps are marked 925, the mark of Sterling. I've been a jeweler since 2002 and only buy metals from vetted, reputable suppliers in the USA.
:: JEWELRY CARE TIPS ::
14K Gold fill and Rose Gold fill must be kept clean to protect it's color. Any exposure to chemicals, hairspray or perfumes may cause the metal to darken. Last On, First Off is the golden rule. Wipe clean with soft damp cloth, allow to dry fully before storing.
Sterling Silver will oxidize naturally over time. Brite Sterling is easily restored with lemon juice and baking soda on a soft toothbrush. Rinse completely and allow to dry before storing.
Oxidized Sterling is created in house. It will age naturally to a variegated color from silver to black. Do not polish with micro abrasive polishing cloths or the oxidized layer will get polished off. Wipe gently with damp cloth.
All metals should be kept away from dampness; store flat, away from direct sunlight, and in zip top baggies to prevent scratches and/or oxidation.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my quality and how to best care for it.
